Jacob is currently majoring in Computer Science at CSU and was hired by the Office of Civic Engagement for the Fall 2021 semester.

Why did you choose to attend CSU?
I wanted to stay local with my hometown and living in the city is really cool. 

What made you want to work as a CPL America Reads Tutor? 
I became a tutor because it seemed like a great opportunity to work while being a student at Cleveland State University.

How will young people benefit from working with you?
I can connect with the students well and help them if they are struggling with their homework. I also thrive in math when it comes to helping students.

What are some things you like to do when you are not in class?
I like to read comic books and play video games. I spend time with my dog Thor. I enjoy taking him out for walks and taking him to dog parks.
