Maria McDonnell
Major: P-5 Education 

I am hoping to work in urban or rural education following my graduation. I am grateful to my parents who supported me through college, provided me with an incomparable education in my early years through homeschooling, and instilled in me my Catholic Faith. I owe my academic success to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Therese, St. Jude, and St. Catherine of Alexandria. Through my time at Cleveland State, I gained my fundamental knowledge base of education. I am especially grateful for my senior year field experience at Willson school. I grew so much as an educator thanks to my amazing mentor teacher Ms. Smith, the rest of the Willson third grade teaching team (Mrs. Wojtowicz, Mrs. Snowden, and Ms. Natalie), and the wonderful third grade students.
