Lab Monitor Services Provided

The Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs computer labs are always staffed by a student lab monitor who’s there to help you. While the lab monitors cannot do your homework for you, here’s a list of things he/she can help you with:

• Help logging on or off the lab computers
• Keeping the printers stocked with paper
• Clearing minor paper jams and reporting major paper jams to technical support for clearing
• Reminding students in UR39 that this is a quiet study lab, and to be considerate of neighboring students
• Monitoring lab equipment and reporting hardware and network problems to technical support
• Preventing or reporting misuse of lab equipment by people in the labs
• Identifying and reporting building problems such as water leakages or power failures
