Urban Network for Innovation in Teacher Education

Program Partners

Urban School Districts

Project UNITE is excited to partner with four urban school districts that will host our UNITE Residents for the next two years. The four districts are the Cleveland Metropolitan Schools, Warrensville Heights City Schools, Maple Heights City Schools, and Cleveland Heights -University School District.  Together, they represent a small, mid-sized, and larger urban district, which offers our residents choice in their field placement and a broader view of urban schools and communities.

Consultants and Advisors

Project UNITE is also consulting with several organizations with a long history in teacher preparation and urban education research. Our three consultants are:

  • The American Association for Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE)
  • The National Center for Teacher Residency Programs (NCTR)
  • The University of Chicago’s Urban Education Institute (UEI)

Our three consultants will assist in program design and review, implementation, and research.
